Aardvark – Expeditor
Expeditor is an application that provides supply chain managers a platform to performance manage their vendors. The supply chain is critical to the success of any business or project, therefore, accurate performance management is key to the success or failure.
Expeditor provides cloud based technology to store and track the performance of individual suppliers, from PO award through to delivery and transport to final destination. It gives immediate data feedback on status and progress of the supply chain, all available on mobile devices to keep all stakeholders immediately informed on progress. It is an essential toolbox for managers, expeditors and logistics personnel.
Many companies already have off-the-self or bespoke ERP systems for the supply chain management, so this module is meant to complement existing systems, and indeed it can synchronize data if required, to help populate the module with data that is accurate and available to all stakeholders. This module has a strong interface with other modules by providing key inputs on packages, tags, and PO delivery information.
As well as providing a web based database for employees to access and update, Aardvark Expeditor is a supplier portal to enable collaborative working and communications, in a secure environment.
Expeditor is fully integrated with the Aardvark Field app. This enables efficient data capture in the field to expeditors, buyers, logistics and engineers to perform the follow-up visits and facilitate report writing.
